Nano Interactive Appoints Advertising Industry Luminary Iain Jacob as Chair

Nano Interactive, the leading advertising technology platform specialising in targeting free of personal identifiers, today announces the appointment of Iain Jacob as independent non-executive chair, the advertising industry veteran and ex EMEA CEO for Publicis Media.

Jacob is joining Nano as an independent non-executive chair, supporting the board, the CEO and senior management team in driving the business forward. His role will be to ensure Nano Interactive leverages the head start and competitive advantage it has gained in developing its innovative, market leading technology to become a global leader in personal, identity-free targeting.

Nano  has developed technology solutions to enable advertisers to tap into next generation contextual targeting, a solution powered by machine learning that understands the underlying meaning and sentiment of a particular page combined with multiple live signals. Thus, data-driven marketing is enabled in a fully privacy-centric and non-identifiable manner, protecting the end user alongside driving campaign effectiveness.

Iain Jacob is a well known advertising industry heavyweight. Former EMEA CEO of Publicis Media and prior to that EMEA CEO of Starcom Mediavest Group, Jacob is currently chair of online measurement body UKOM. UKOM has built a strong reputation in creating and managing a credible industry standard for online audience measurement, reflecting Jacob’s long-term commitment to ensuring impactful results for advertisers in the online space.

Jacob joins Nano with a wealth of experience at board level at multiple leading advertising businesses. Jacob is a member of the board of advisors for digital advertising business LoopMe as well as chair to the board of directors at advertising technology business Inskin and video content creation and production company Wooshii. His experience of developing businesses both in Europe and the US will enable him to apply his insights to Nano as it scales globally.
