Clear Channel & Hivestack Partner for Programmatic Digital-Out-Of-Home (DOOH) In Italy

Clear Channel Italy is a part of the Clear Channel Europe group, one of the world’s leading out-of-home (OOH) media companies. In Italy alone, Clear Channel owns 800 digital screens of which over 500 are stationed across the popular cities of Rome, Milan, Naples, Florence, Vicenza, Padua, Verona, Brescia, and Genoa.
Effective immediately, Clear Channel Italy’s premium DOOH inventory will be available on the Hivestack supply-side platform (SSP) for brands, agencies, and omnichannel DSP’s both within Italy and from around the world to plan, activate and measure highly targeted, relevant, and scalable campaigns via the Hivestack platform. Clear Channel inventory in this agreement generates more than 18 million Impressions per week in Italy’s busiest cities through screens on different venue types including billboards, bus shelters, key airports in Venice, Treviso and Bologna as well as urban panels.

Digital out-of-home ad spend in Italy amounted to USD$95m (£76.1m) in 2022 with that figure set to rise to USD$115m (£92.1m) by 2025, likely powered by the data-driven targeting and measurement capabilities offered by programmatic technology. Through this partnership with Clear Channel, Hivestack offers the market-leading opportunity for local brands in Italy and those outside of the market, globally, to engage with target audiences at scale in some of the most premium locations in the market.
