on 10th Sep 2024 inIndex Exchange Inc. (Index), the global advertising supply-side platform, today (September 10th, 2024) announced the appointment of John Tigg as senior vice president, of buyer development, in Europe.
In this newly developed role, Tigg will be responsible for driving growth for marketers across Europe, with a focus on understanding buyer needs and aligning them with Index’s suite of products and services. He will manage supply-path-optimisation (SPO) initiatives through strategic trading agreements and provide additional regional leadership and representation following the appointment of Cadi Jones, SVP Europe, earlier this year.
“The appointment of John Tigg as SVP buyer development underscores our commitment to the European market and the potential we see here,” explained Alex Gardner, chief revenue officer at Index Exchange. “John’s wealth of experience working with major agency holding companies, independent agencies and directly with brands will be invaluable as we continue to build solutions for customers to help them navigate market challenges including consumer shifts, regulatory changes, and sustainability demands.”
Tigg joins Index from Yieldmo where as EVP, global buyer development, he was responsible for publisher and agency and advertiser revenue. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Cadent.tv, Yahoo!, and Videology, which was acquired by Amobee in 2018.
“With over 20 years of industry experience, Index is well placed to help customers and partners navigate the ever-evolving digital advertising ecosystem,” said Tigg. “The business is committed to building world-class technology as well as developing market-leading standards, making it a necessary partner for marketers and media owners. Their strong stance on made-for-advertising (MFA) sites is testament to their clear vision for the future and I look forward to working with this dedicated team to make this future our customers’ reality.”
Tigg is based in London and will report to Gardner.
