by Ciaran O'Kane on 5th May 2011 in News
Leading European advertising industry publications Adzine and ExchangeWire are co-hosting the inaugural Ad Trader Conference on June 28, 2011 in Hamburg. The event will focus on the fundamental changes currently taking place in the German display marketplace on the buy and sell side.
Innovative ad technology and real-time auction platforms are opening up new opportunities for German agencies and advertisers to efficiently source media for digital advertising campaigns - as well as drive better performance through dynamic audience buying.
The Ad Trader Conference will explore whether the new exchange marketplace will be able to deliver higher yields for publishers’ non-guaranteed inventory – and how publisher data might be leveraged to increase the value of impressions made available to DSPs, ATDs and other exchange buyers.
Jens Jokschat, Managing Director at leading German agency pilot 1/0, has been confirmed as a speaker on the day. Joskschat is bullish on the potential for exchange trading, and sees opportunity for the change in the way dsiplay is being bough and sold in Germany:
"Technology has evolved over the last two years in terms of targeting and real-time control of inventory. They have the potential to lift relevancy and effectiveness of display advertising to a completely new level in this market.”
Other speakers confirmed for the Ad Trader Conference include: Christoph Schäfer, GF Performance Media; Joëlle Frijters, CEO and Co-founder Improve Digital; Matthias Pantke, CEO Adscale; Sacha Berlik, CEO Mexad; Tom Jenen, Commercial Director EMEA Admeld; Wolfgang Bscheid, GF mediascale; Andreas Schwibbe, CEO adnologies; and Kay Schneider, CEO Revenuemax.
There will be over twenty leading figures from the German buy and sell-side discussing and analysing the latest trends in the exchange marketplace at the Ad Trader Conference on June 28.
