Global Digital Out of Home Marketplace Announces New US Hires
by News
on 12th May 2021 inLeading global digital out of home (OOH) marketplace VIOOH today announced new US hires in two newly created commercial and marketing roles. Following its launch in the market last October, the announcement comes as the OOH marketplace delivers on strategic plans to supply the highest service levels, offering robust value and tangible advertising outcomes in the US.
The new hires, a first for VIOOH in the US, including a senior field marketing manager and account manager DSP partnerships, will both be based in New York. VIOOH has recently announced partnerships with locally based demand side platforms (DSPs) Ubimo and Atedra, taking the total number of US DSP integrations to ten, with future DSP partnerships expected to be announced soon. VIOOH also has plans to announce deals with more US-based media owners in the coming months.
The account manager DSP partnerships role, initially reporting to the chief revenue officer, will be held by Wyatt Foglia, previously a senior analyst, investment and partnerships at GroupM’s programmatic digital media investment business Xaxis, a role he held for three years.
As the management of DSPs on the VIOOH platform becomes even more critical, Foglia will be responsible for taking the management of existing DSPs forward, including growing the number of partner DSPs in North America. He will also be responsible for the ongoing operational delivery of best practice services for these critical partners, including embedding the VIOOH engagement model.
Erin McFadden joins as senior field marketing manager from MiQ, where she led and managed the development and execution of integrated marketing communications strategies for almost three years. Previously, McFadden managed marketing at Teads.
Reporting to the chief marketing officer, McFadden’s remit will include creating and delivering a tactical marketing plan for the US, strategically planning, implementing, and reviewing all promotional activities and marketing events using data, analytics, and creative thinking.
“We’re excited about the opportunities that programmatic digital out of home inventory can deliver to brands and media owners, and these local hires are an indication of the opportunity we see for VIOOH in the US market. We’re already seeing a positive bounce back this year in ad spend, with more revenue in Q1 alone compared with the whole of 2020,” said Jean-Christophe Conti, CEO at VIOOH.
“Our ambition is to change the conversation about out of home, with a platform to help accelerate transformation in outdoor advertising through automation. Programmatic OOH offers advertisers a more flexible and impactful way to connect with audiences, and provides media owners with the opportunity to access digital budgets and new customers. I hope US advertisers and media owners alike will maximise this new opportunity to thrive.”
VIOOH’s platform connects buyers and sellers in a premium marketplace, making OOH easily accessible. It has over 30 DSP partnership agreements globally, including live integrations in the US market with Atedra, Blip, Hivestack, MediaMath, Outmoove, The Trade Desk, TPS, Ubimo, Verizon Media, and Vistar Media.
Both new hires will join VIOOH in May.
VIOOH is looking to make additional hires in the US this year. Open roles include Technical Account Manager and Account Manager both based in New York City. For more information about working at VIOOH and to apply for the roles visit: www.viooh.com.
