Quantcast, Digital Turbine & VDX.TV Lead The Wires Awards 2022 Shortlist

The shortlist for The Wires Global 2022 awards has been revealed by ExchangeWire, with Quantcast and Digital Turbine leading the finalists, each amassing an impressive ten shortlisted entries. VDX.TV also collected seven shortlisted entries across four different categories.
Now in its sixth year, The Wires Global awards programme recognises the very best use of media, marketing and commerce across all aspects of media sales and media buying, celebrating use of technology, expertise, and innovation within the industry.
Our judging panel was impressed with the quality of submissions, and the variety of companies, regions, verticals and channels represented, proving that there is some exciting, innovative work taking place across the industry on a global scale.
Across their European and APAC teams, Quantcast received three shortlisted entries in The Best Use of Data category, for their work with Accor Hotels and iProspect, Virgin Money and m/Six, and Honda, Matterkind UK and Universal McCann. Quantcast were also shortlisted in Best Digital Campaign, Best Marketing Technology Solution, Best New Product or Service: Buy Side and Best Use of CTV Technology.
Digital Turbine (formerly AdColony) were shortlisted in Best Ecommerce Customer Acquisition Strategy, Best Gaming/User Acquisition Monetisation Strategy, Best Mobile Campaign, Best APAC Regional Campaign, Best Use of Data & Creativity, and Best Video Campaign for their work with, among others, Suntory Pepsico Beverage Thailand Co. Ltd, McCormick & Company, DentsuX, Emina Cosmetics, Vizeum, Unilever Philippines, Mindshare and Kellogg India.
VDX.TV scored big in the Best Digital Campaign, Best Video Campaign and Best Use of CTV Technology categories, for their work with Nissan, Jägermeister, Canal & River Trust, Samsung Gulf Electronics, Starcom, Twentysix, L’Oréal Luxe Spain, Zenith Spain, OMD France and TBWA.
New for 2022 was The Best Application of ESG category, recognising a growing and fundamentally vital aspect of the future of our industry. The judges were elated to have the opportunity to discover some of the efforts around environmental and social responsibility in digital, which saw shortlisted entries from Good-Loop, PubWise, OpenX, and Mediahub, Lumen and SeenThis.
59A, Xaxis, News UK, Wavemaker Indonesia, Nano Interactive, Fifty, Bidstack, Media Tradecraft, Captify, Seedtag, Mediahub, Lumen, PubWise and Yield Marketing Technology also appeared in the shortlist more than once across the 18 categories.
