Women Lifting Women Initiative Expands with Launch of Mentorship Programme

on 28th Nov 2023 inThe Women Lifting Women initiative, a champion of gender equity and diversity, is thrilled to announce the launch of its new mentorship programme. A collaboration between market leaders NumberEight and in-game audio pioneer Odeeo, this mentorship programme will connect the next generation of women executives with established leaders across advertising, gaming, and technology.
NumberEight and Odeeo launched Women Lifting Women in April 2023 to help address the gender disparity in the ad tech ecosystem. According to the 2022 Global Gender Gap Report, only 24% of leadership roles in the tech sector are occupied by women [source: Deloitte]. In 2021, the European Women on Boards reported that a mere 19% of women within these industries [source: European Women on Boards].
Building on its beginning as a destination for interviews and resources, Women Lifting Women will now also connect mentees and mentors. The initial cohort of mentors includes:
