on 28th Jan 2025 inOrisha ADgency, a leading media agency in France specialising in digital out-of-home (DOOH) and digital point-of-sale advertising and part of Orisha Retail Shops, has partnered with Cedara, the Carbon Intelligence Platform, to develop a sustainability solution for ADgency’s network of advertisers and retailers. As one of the first French DOOH agencies to integrate Cedara’s carbon measurement platform, Orisha ADgency is pioneering sustainability efforts in the DOOH and broader advertising industry.
Cedara’s end-to-end sustainability platform will enable Orisha ADgency to calculate the carbon emissions associated with both its own operations and all of its DOOH media, helping advertisers implement emissions reduction strategies and develop customised compensation strategies through investments in third-party verified, high-quality carbon removal and avoidance projects.
Working with Cedara, Orisha ADgency will adhere to global industry standards for carbon measurement, including the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, and Ad Net Zero’s Global Media Sustainability Framework. ADgency will drive environmental impact across its network of over 11,000 digital screens in over 9000 local shops across France.
“As digital and programmatic out-of-home advertising continues to grow, ensuring sustainability remains a top priority,” said Vincent Coulet, executive director of Orisha Retail Shops. “By leveraging Cedara’s technology, we will provide our clients with the tools to measure, manage, and mitigate their carbon footprint, ensuring a more responsible and sustainable future for advertising.”
“The DOOH sector presents a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change in sustainability practices,” said Andrea Caporlingua, VP of sales, France & Belgium at Cedara. “We are excited to work with Orisha ADgency to equip the industry with the tools needed to reduce emissions and move toward a net-zero future.”
