PubMatic Strengthens CTV Momentum in EMEA with Strategic Leadership Appointments

PubMatic, an independent technology company delivering digital advertising’s supply chain of the future, announced key leadership appointments, reinforcing its commitment to the growing connected TV (CTV) market. As highlighted in its latest earnings call, PubMatic’s CTV revenue more than doubled in the fourth quarter of 2024, reaching 20% of total revenue, while the EMEA region emerged as the company’s fastest-growing market for CTV.

The company has bolstered its expertise in the broadcast and streaming market with the appointments of Kavita Veeramah Collins as senior director of advertiser solutions CTV and Silvia Gorra as senior marketing director for the EMEA region, underscoring its continued investment in digital-first strategies as brands increasingly shift budgets from traditional linear approaches to more targeted, data-driven solutions.

Kavita Veeramah Collins, Senior Director of Advertiser Solutions CTV

Veeramah Collins brings extensive experience in broadcaster sales, including roles at ITV, London Live and Sony Pictures Television Networks. In her new role, she will focus on supporting advertisers as they transition to a CTV-first approach. The role will be pivotal in building strategic relationships with buy-side stakeholders and ensuring publishers can fully leverage PubMatic’s solutions to maximise revenue.

“As more advertisers shift budgets to CTV, PubMatic is uniquely positioned to help both publishers and buyers navigate this transition thanks to our technology suite, our supply path optimisation relationships, and our legacy of helping premium content owners maximise revenue,” said Veeramah Collins. “I’m excited to be part of this journey and to help accelerate PubMatic’s impact in this rapidly evolving space.”

PubMatic has recently unveiled a suite of solutions to help streamers and advertisers tap into programmatic technology to drive better outcomes for their businesses. Their recently launched CTV Marketplace offers real-time curation of premium streaming inventory, providing buyers with specific inventory categories like Gen Z or live sports and enabling CTV publishers to access incremental demand. Additionally, expanding partnerships with leading commerce media companies like Instacart and Retailor Media seamlessly bring valuable shopper data signals into CTV advertising strategies for more impactful campaigns.

Silvia Gorra, Senior Marketing Director, EMEA

To help accelerate PubMatic’s growth in CTV, commerce, mobile, and buyer-focused business lines, Gorra will lead PubMatic’s marketing strategy across EMEA, strengthening the company’s brand positioning and market influence. She brings over 20 years of experience driving marketing strategy for leading ad tech companies, most recently serving as VP of marketing at VidMob and previously as VP of international marketing at Magnite.

“We’re delighted to welcome both Kavita and Silvia to PubMatic. Their backgrounds in broadcasting and CTV and deep relationships across the industry are critical to our growth in this rapidly evolving sector,” said Emma Newman, chief revenue officer, EMEA at PubMatic. “PubMatic’s CTV business has shown strong growth, particularly over the past year, and both Kavita and Silvia will be invaluable to us as we continue this momentum and help linear TV buyers transition to a CTV-first strategy.”

The appointments of Veeramah Collins and Gorra reinforce PubMatic’s commitment to providing industry-leading expertise. As the company continues its strong growth trajectory, these leadership additions will further drive innovation and success for advertisers and publishers in the EMEA region, with more senior hires to be announced soon to support PubMatic’s rapid CTV growth.
