Thomas Mendrina, Country Manager DACH Admeld
Thomas Mendrina has been responsible for all activities of Admeld in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2010. Before that he headed up the commercial development for Axel Springer Media Impact where he was responsible for all performance and mobile sales activities. Before he served as Country Manager Germany for ValueClick Media and as Commercial Director Digital Media for the sports rightsholder IMG. Mendrina helds an Executive MBA of the IE Business School plus a Master in European Sportsmanagement. He teaches search and display Engine Marketing in the Master of Digital Marketing of the IE Business School.
Stephan Noller, CEO nugg.ad and Chairman of the Policy Committee IAB Europe
Stephan Noller is the founder and CEO of nugg.ad AG. Noller is responsible for further developing the nugg.ad platform and emerging technologies to meet the demands of the market. In his role as the chairman of the Policy Committee at IAB Europe, he also seeks to represent the interests of the European internet economy. Following on from his role at TNS Emnid – where his responsibilities included the setup of innovative procedures to measure the internet outreach for AGOF – he developed a targeting system for online advertising based on automated profiling for TNS Infratest in 2005/ 2006.
Christian Müller, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Metrigo
Christian Müller is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Metrigo, a German DSP based in Hamburg. Having finished his MBA he joined G+J (Europe's largest magazine publishing house) in 2005 as Executive Assistant to the board and later became responsible for the company's growth markets in Asia as Director of Business & Strategy at G+J International.
In 2009 Christian Co-Founded Adyard, a pan-European performance ad network that was acquired by Ligatus in 2011. In 2012 the Adyard founders moved on to start Metrigo, where Christian leads the sales team and is responsible for the business development of the company.
Bjorn Kvarby, Chief Operations Officer, Next Performance
Bjorn is in charge of the strategy and global deployment of Next Performance, Europe’s fastest growing (re)targeting company.
Prior to joining Next Performance Bjorn was the Managing Director of Shopping.com Europe and Australia (part of eBay) where he oversaw strategy and all business operations including Merchant Services, Display Advertising, Internet Marketing and Distributed Commerce Publisher Network. Bjorn was also part of the Shopping.com Executive Team and the eBay Europe Leadership Team.
Joelle Frijters, CEO & Founder, Improve Digital
Joëlle Frijters’ career in the field of online marketing and advertising started 14 years ago and she has become one of the top experts in terms of yield management by use of manual and automated systems.
Before the founding of Improve Digital, she held a position at Microsoft and was responsible for the setup and internationalisation of the performance network, MSNDR, which was dedicated to turning unsold inventory into a financial advantage in 11 European countries.
Gustav Mellentin, Co-Founder & CEO, Adform
Gustav Mellentin is a co-founder of Adform and has been CEO of Adform since the company was founded in 2002. Prior to founding Adform, Gustav worked as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company in Stockholm and held the position of Senior Analyst with Nordea Markets, Copenhagen, specializing in the development of mathematical models fort he pricing of structured financial products.
Gustav holds an MBA from IMD (International Institute for Management Development) and an MSc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. Gustav has been based in our London office since 2009.
Jan Heumüller, Country Manager DACH, mexad
Jan Heumüller is Country Manager DACH at mexad. In this role, he is responsible for the development of the German, Austrian and Swiss markets, as well as the integration of the eastern European markets.
Jan Heumüller has over 12 years of experience in the international digital marketing branch. After being employed at companies such as eVita and ePost, Jan Heumüller was the CEO of the successful software specialist dacoma GmbH and the AdNetwork Ybrant Digital GmbH.
Bartosz Wysocki, Sales Director, Gazeta.pl Group, Agora S
For the past 11 years Bartosz Wysocki has been working in the Polish advertising indsutry. He started his career at an independent advertising agency, where he gained experience in the area of strategy and customer service. Since 2005 Bartosz has been working for Agora, one of the leading premium publishing houses in Poland, where he spent his first four years with Gazeta Wyborcza. He has been directly involved in the dynamic changes and development of the Polish advertising market.
Until 2011 Bartosz was responsible for cooperation with the leading media houses and their clients in Gazeta.pl. Since 2011 as the Sales Director of the entire Gazeta.pl Group he has also been responsible for managing Agora’s advertising networks.
Even though Bartosz is constantly involved with ROIs, insights and revenues, he also enjoys running which he has been actively doing for the past year. From time to time Bartosz manages to share his knowledge with post-graduate students of the Poznan University of Economics – which is also his home university.
