OpenAI has formed a Safety and Security Committee. In their own words, the committee will be “responsible for making recommendations on critical safety and security decisions” for all of their projects. The committee will be led by CEO Sam Altman, alongside directors Bret Taylor, Adam D’Angelo, and Nicole Seligman.
US court to hear TikTok ban case in September (Reuters)
The Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has set a fast-track schedule to consider the legal challenges to the law which will ban TikTok in the country unless sold by China-based parent company ByteDance.
